The Nars Final Cut Collection - new edge of pink is the perfect combo for this spring floral prints and cut dresses.
The collection includes 4 blushes and matching satin lip pencils, and a illuminator...
I picked up the Final Cut blush from the collection as I really like coral colours on my cheeks and on the lips I picked up the satin lip pencil in Descanso which is a pinky mauve; a my lips but better colour.
NARS Satin Lip Pencil in Descanso | NARS Blush in Final Cut
NARS Satin Lip Pencil in Descanso:
The Satin Lip Pencil has a mild amaretto scent. On my lips its transfers into a pinky mauve colour as my lips are quite pigmented. The pencil its self is creamy and pigmented.
If you have dry lips make sure to exfoliate before applying it on your lips as it will make it prominent. For me the downfall of the lip pencil is that you have to sharpen it once its goes blunt, so it can be wasteful and unhygenic but with so many pretty colour selection from the permanent line and the occasion limited editions its hard to resist.
NARS Blush in Final Cut:
It matte finish and on the cheeks is turns into a pinky peach tone. From swatching the blush with my finger, it is very smooth but the pigmentation was quiet sheer. However using a brush to pick up the product the blush is very pigmented so be sure you use a light hand because you can definitely over blush with this!
From normal, dry, oily to sensitive skin, we all different skin type and have specific needs, so its important to understand your skin especially your face as it is more likely to exposed to pollution and dirt than the rest of your body. The Lancome Visionnaire claims to reduce the appear of wrinkles, minimise pores and even out uneven skin tone.
The Lancome Visionnaire suggests to use it along side with the Lancome Gènifique, which I did use at the beginning, however I found that the Genifique didn't do much for my skin and once the bottled finished I just stopped using it. The Visionnaire has a mild perfume scent which fades after a few minutes. Like most serum it comes in a bottle with a pump. The product it self is a light white gel formula that goes clear once rubbed into the face.
I've been using the serum for the last 2 month as a face lotion and I absolutely love it! It is lightweight formula that doesn't break me out, nor dose it give me any allergic reaction and at the same time it gives me soft to the touch skin. It has helped with evening out my skin tone and correcting any hyper-pigmentation that I have had from previous blemishes. For minimise pores and wrinkles I haven't seen much effect to those claims yet.
If your looking for a product to even out your skin tone, give this a go. At £82 a bottle its is a luxury product but definitely worth it if it works for you, and in my case it really has.
Taking off your makeup before you go to bed is important, not only because it removes you makeup but its removes the impurities from you skin such pollution. This fragrance free Bioderma Sensibio H2O doubles up as a toner and as a make up remover. Its gentle on the skin and can remover eye makeup without stinging or irritating it, so if you don't like using oil base cleansers then you are in luck!

Whether you have sensitive, normal or dry skin this the alcohol free formula is super gentle on the skin and even remove waterproof mascara.
I just simply use 1 cotton pad for all over the face and 2 for both eyes. For waterproof make-up I suggest to hold it for about 30 seconds and then gently rubbing it in circular motion until you are makeup free.
And here is a secret for those late night outs and too tired to go through your skin routine! All you simply have to do it go over your face with this product! The cleanser is very gentle so when I wake up with un moisturised skin I am not left with any breakouts or dry patches on my face. However I don't suffer you do it ever night, just now and again when you feel like cheating a little bit ;)
The only downfall about this product is that it is hard to find in stores and it is more expensive than if you was to purchase in France, so if your ever in France STOCK UP!
Nevertheless it is simply amazing and beats any make-up remover I've ever used.
Toner is an essential step to your skin care routine; washing, drying and creaming your face is not enough! Unless you have perfect skin! But even so, every skin type needs to be maintained. The benefits of a toner is to cleanse any impurities the skin may have and tackle appearance of pores.
I have tried many toners through out the years and many have either did nothing for my skin, irritated it or dry it out but this SK-II toner has changed the way my skin feels and looks. This is my third bottle and definitely won't be my last.
What the product says: "The secret key in making SKII one of the world’s most innovative skincare lines is the ingredient Pitera. Pitera is a blend of vitamins, amino acids, minerals and organic acids that work together to allow for the skin’s natural surface rejuvenation process to to function at its prime, enhancing the renewal of the skin’s outer layer. With products ranging from renewing, brightening, nourishing, anti-ageing and finishing, there is nothing this Japanese skincare line can’t do to aide in your dermal needs."
This alcohol-free toner cleanse your face without stripping your skin of natural oils. It has salicylic acid to keep those blemishes at bay. I have very sensitive skin and sometimes it can get dry or very oily, with this toner it leave my skin oil free and hydrated.
I use my Suzuran Arttirer Puff cotton pads purchased from SASA in Hong Kong and its works like a charm, it doesn't waste any product and it is soft and gentle on the skin. I wipe the cotton pad all over my face and along my neck.
At £45 a bottle at Harrods it is definitely a splurge, however one bottle for me last up to 6 months, which isn't too bad as I feel most toners on the high street you would have to use a lot more product to even get nearly the same results.
